About Honest Wellness Report
We don't manufacture or sell these products. We investigate them.
Why This Site Exists
Search for almost any supplement and you land in one of two places. Either a sales page telling you the product changed someone's life, or a "review" that is a sales page wearing a different hat — the same claims, restated, with a buy button at the bottom.
What's missing is the boring middle: what does the research actually say about these ingredients, what does the finished product actually deliver, what do the terms and conditions actually commit the seller to, and what does a fair trial of the thing look like. Those are answerable questions, and answering them properly takes a few hours of reading that most people understandably don't want to do themselves.
That reading is what this site is.
What We Cover
Deliberately narrow. Two areas, covered properly, rather than a wellness blog covering everything shallowly:
Hearing Health
Tinnitus, age-related hearing changes, the ingredients marketed for them, and the research on hearing and cognition.
Explore hearing research →Weight & Metabolic Health
Berberine, metabolic support supplements, and what modest sustained weight loss does to the body.
Explore weight research →We are not covering sleep, skin, joints, libido, immunity, hair or the dozen other categories a site with this name could reach for. Covering two subjects well is worth more to a reader than covering twelve badly, and we would rather be genuinely useful in a narrow place than vaguely present everywhere.
Who Writes This
Honest Wellness Report is a small independent publication. Articles are researched and written by our editorial team and published under the publication's name rather than an individual byline.
We want to be precise about what that does and does not mean, because a lot of sites in this category are not:
- We are not doctors, audiologists or clinicians, and we don't present ourselves as any of those. Nothing here is medical advice, and we say so on every page.
- We are not a laboratory. We have not independently assayed any product, and where a question can only be settled by testing we say that rather than implying we settled it.
- What we do is read. Published human research, seller terms of service, refund policies, ingredient labels and independent user reports — then set out plainly what each one supports and what it doesn't.
That is a real and useful job, and it is the one we are actually doing. Claiming a bigger one would make the site less trustworthy, not more.
How We Reach a Verdict
Every product goes through the same twelve-step method, in the same order, and one rule shapes all of it: ingredient evidence is not product evidence. A compound having research behind it does not establish that a finished product delivers a comparable amount of it. We treat those as two questions and tell you which one a given study actually answers.
The full method is published at How We Review Products.
How We Are Funded
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. That is the whole business model — there are no ads, no sponsored posts, and no manufacturer paying us to publish anything.
The commission does not change our verdict, and it does not change what we publish about refund terms. It is disclosed on every page carrying a commercial link, before the link. Details in our affiliate disclosure.
Corrections
Prices change, promotions expire, refund windows get rewritten and labels get reformulated. When we find that something we published is out of date or wrong, we correct the page and update its review date rather than leaving the old figure sitting there. If you spot something, telling us is the fastest way to get it fixed.
